I made these months ago, but they’ve been sitting in my little caddy waiting for the spotlight. I’m really into the black and white combo; it is classic after all.

This pair is a combination of recycled materials and repurposed beads. The upcycled plastic has been shaped into a teardrop or pear-shaped hoop.

 

They’re light to wear. They’re also unique. I’ve only made one pair so get them while you can.

Some of my relatives and friends belong to social organizations which contains the Greek letter above. Their colors are Black and White which is why I am calling this design Phi.

I don’t really know what my inspiration was for this design. I think one night I drew a bunch of concepts and then a few days later tried to make them with the materials I had on hand. I have a few Black and White designs I’m working on but I was really intrigued by these. I even wore them on a night out a while back.

This design is made of recycled plastic and repurposed beads and spacers.

Of course the combinations of Black and White are not exclusive to those organizations. The classic combination is a necessity for every lady’s wardrobe and accessory closet.

Frosty the Snowman

 

In the Meadow We Can Build a Snowman, and pretend that he is Parson Brown. He'll say are you married we'll say "no man, but you can do the job when you're in town."

 

 

For the last instalment of the Christmas collection I present to you my mother’s favorite Christmas symbol, the Snowman.

This little guy took some work to figure out but it was worth it! I wore a pair of them out the other day. They were light as a feather, I forgot I had them on.
 

 

I used two different materials for this design. You can have it in either textured white plastic or painted clear plastic. Both designs are made from recycled plastic so you can have a sustainable and festive look this holiday season.

There are few tastes in the world better than Peppermint! Candy Canes are one of the best things about Christmas. They can be used for so many things; decorations, gifts, food and … Jewelry??? YES!

 

 

Now a days it is hard to find an ordinary candy cane (or maybe I just get to the stores too late); it seems like all I can find are skittles candy canes or tropical fruit candy canes. Rubbish! Nothing beats a good old fashioned peppermint stick.

Simply Snowflakes

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

 

As you can see I’m getting ready for Christmas. I love Christmas! I love Christmas music, I love shopping for Christmas presents and trying to figure out what I’m getting my family and friends. I love watching Christmas movies; I used to watch a different movie everyday. I love going to various celebrations and parties. I love preparing for Christmas; I used to have Christmas dinner for my family before moved to England, and I really miss deciding on the menu, picking the décor for the year, decorating the house, buying and decorating my real tree - and if you knew me you’d know that would take a whole day in itself; I’m a bit OCD so my ornaments have to go on in a certain order.

 

I miss all of that! Last Christmas was a bit of a disaster, we had a loved one who was terminally ill and Neil and I spent the whole of the Christmas season at the hospital. Now Neil doesn’t enjoy Christmas at all anymore; he's not in the mood for it with all the other things we have going on. But to me that's even more reason to have a great Christmas, to take your mind off of the troubles of life and celebrate the season. I want to liven up this Christmas but he’s being a bit of a Scrooge. Hopefully he’ll come around.
 

Anyway, I have been busy coming up with and trying out designs for Christmas earrings. Of course again I’m trying to use recycled materials. A lot of the designs are still a work in progress but I figured I could release one of them now.

 

These simple snowflakes are the first of this year’s Christmas line. As you can see I’ve done them in clear and white soft recycled plastic. They are large however they are as light as air. And just like real snowflakes no two are exactly the same.  Get your pair before they melt away.

This is one of the designs I was talking about last week when I said the swirls inspired two new designs. I really like these, possibly more than the swirls. 

 

 

 

 

Again these earrings are made of recycled materials so you can be proud when you wear them. If left in the hands of anyone else these materials may have ended up in a landfill somewhere. But instead they were used to create a lovely piece of jewelry which you could be lucky enough to own.

Swirls

 

Yesterday was Neil’s birthday, I’d been busy over the past week making sure all my plans were falling into place. Plus last week was Halloween, although I didn’t have any parties to go to or costumes to coordinate I was in a festive mood and wanted to focus on the holiday. That doesn’t mean that I wasn’t busy though! I’m always thinking, dreaming and planning new designs or new materials to use.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 A while ago I made these swirls. I’ve adapted them since then which has led to two new designs altogether, but I’ll save them for another week. The first set of swirls are wider, but these newer swirls are thinner.

 

 

Also since then I’ve done the swirls in colored plastic.

Again all of these are made of recycled materials including repurposed beads. The finings of course are new, either silver or gold plated.
