The 12 Days
of Christmas (The Dangling Journey version)
It just occurred
to me that there are only 12 days left until Christmas, so why not create our
own version of the classic song. I know that the 12 days actually refers to the
12 days after Christmas (because it ends on my birthday). But what better way
to countdown to Christmas than singing a cute song. However, the items listed
in the song do not reflect the actual stock available.
On the first
day of Christmas the journey brought to me a crystal snow lady.
On the third
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; three Christmas trees, two bunches
of grapes and a crystal snow lady.
On the fourth
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; four blue pearls, three Christmas trees,
two bunches of grapes and a crystal snow lady.
On the fifth
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; FIVE STARS OF DAVID. Four blue
pearls, three Christmas trees, two bunches of grapes and a crystal snow lady.
On the sixth
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; six pearl and crystal dangles, FIVE
STARS OF DAVID. Four blue pearls, three Christmas trees, two bunches of grapes
and a crystal snow lady.
On the eighth
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; eight holly leaves, seven Christmas
stockings, six pearl and crystal dangles, FIVE STARS OF DAVID. Four blue

On the ninth
day of Christmas the journey brought to me; nine Kwanzaa symbols, eight holly

eleventh day of Christmas the journey brought to me; eleven Candy Canes, ten sea

trees, two bunches of grapes and a crystal snow lady.
On the
twelfth day of Christmas the journey brought to me; twelve jingling bells, eleven
candy canes, ten sea shells, nine Kwanzaa symbols, eight holly leaves, seven Christmas
stockings, six pearl and crystal dangles, FIVE STARS OF DAVID. Four blue
